HI. I am looking for the name of an artist who sang this song in the 90's. The chorus went, "I don't mind fooling around, but slow down baaaaabee. Take it nice and slow....set the mood (background singers "I wanna set the mood"). The artist is a female and ot was a moderate hit in the early to mid-nineties. I can't remember her name though I wanna say it was something like, Jessica Pennington. I don't know if or think that's it though. If anyone can remember the name of this artist, I would so love it if you let me know, anything at all..

No one can remember hearing these lyrics? It wasn't big son back then, but it was a moderate hit for her. It made Video Soul's countdown on Fridays a couple of times..

wow I just took a stab at that one! I have that twelve if you can't find it maybe I can help.. I never really listen to it.. I just remember that was the only song that really used the word slow and sung by a lady.. thanks for letting me know as I was curious. it wasn;t a big hit you are right but came out as her next single.

I can't find it anywhere it seems, I'd buy the cd, but damn...I don't want it. I just want that song. If you know how to put that into to mp3 format, that's be cool, if you don't then I guess I'll have to pay that whopping $.95 for the complete album. MSN music doesn't even have it and I don't have itunes..

Lol, I don't deny that. It's not so much as I am cheap though, it's more that I don't want to wait up to 2 weeks to hear the song. I wana hear it now! Besides that, I don't want the whole album to take up space when I only want the one song. I'd gladly pay 99 cents for the one song rather than the 95 cents for the whole album, lol, but yeah I am pretty cheap..

The singers name was trisha covington she was from Cleveland, OH and the song was called "Slow Down" the video featured a young Tyson Beckford.
