In the movie Vanilla Sky, when Tom Cruise is in the spectacular elevator going up and up with a "man", there is an instrumental playing in the background. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THAT SONG! (Artist/Title).
I've bought the
soundtrack, but it's not included.

Yea.. I have the same problem...but its a different song it goes "All I really want is just another chance to take the pain away...." It's played in the elevator when the man is telling Tom about Tom's friends attending his funeral.... Anyways I was wondering if anyone knew the artist and title of the song.. Please!! I got to find
it!.

Vanilla Sky is quite possibly my favorite movie. You go through so many emotions when watching it and I can identify with so many different aspects of Tom Cruz's character. Does anyone know if there will be a sequel? Remember, "Every passing moment is another opportunity to turn it all around!".

Thanks so much for posting that song list. I hate the fact that soundtracks to movies are sold with an incomplete list of songs, or ever worse, songs that weren't even in the movie in the first place.
I loved Vanilla Sky, and in particular the club scene. I already knew the Afrika song, but had never heard of Underworld before until I heard the director's commentary mention the song on the DVD. GREAT!! Now I had it....
But what was the first song of this scene? It was so cool and hypnotic and... it was not in the credits or on the DVD. So tonight, I went to Google, typed in "Vanilla Sky Club Scene" and found this site. AWSOME!! I love the
'net!
Anyway, to whoever asked, I doubt there would be a sequel. I'd love to see one, but really, where could the story go? It ends, and you're full of emotions at the end. Exactly how a great movie should leave
you.

Couple songs are missing from the list,
Two songs are missing from the list by Sigur Ros the first being:
Svefn-g-englar and
Njosnovelin (The Nothing Song) the song I
talked about in my previous post the one that is playing when the memories are going through Tom's head as he jumps off the building...one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard..

i've been trying to look for a song that's in the movie...but i just cant get it...its a slow song...it towards the end..and it's with penelope cruz and shes in this dig fancy room..and theres a guitar in a glass case ..but the place looks really fancy...like a ballroom dance place...it's a slow song..i think it's just before the
elevator scene before he jumps..it's somehwre around that scene..almost near the end.
