Can anyone tell me who sang the D. Hall song
Everytime you go away, from the film Planes Trains and Automobiles. 1987. It is sung right at the end of the film by a girl singer.
This song was a hit for Paul Young and Gloria Gaynor but I would really love to know the name of the singer from the film.
Thanks.G

I looked around the net and couldn't find any info on Blue Room and apparently the movie soundtrack is also out of print. However, if you are interested in a used copy of the soundtrack on LP record go to http://mindbender.gemm.com/ and type in Planes, Trains & Automobiles and search under title, they have one copy..

Thanks for your help. Very grateful.

I purchased the LP Soundtrack some years ago and surprise surprise this track does not appear on it, the reason I do not know. So I guess it might be impossible to ever get hold of a copy.
Still now that I now the name of the group it is a good starting point.
Thanks once again.

Dear Xrey,
Thanks for the info though I am now very confused. On the Movie credits it does say the group is Blue Room, so please please let me know about this artist called SASHA. Is that another name they performed under?
Please do come back.
Cheers.
Gordon.

Hey Gordon and company:

I was able to find a 1 minute & 22 second MP3 sample of the song. It's not much, but I think this is the only version that's out there right now.

It's located here:

Enjoy!!!

I too have been searching for this song by Blue Room and it's damn near impossible to find. I read somewhere that the song was never released on any album. However, I was able to find an mp3 of it from a website (I don't even remember where; it's been so long) -- the sound quality isn't fantastic but it's decent enough. The cut is taken directly from the film so it's only as long as it was during the movie. If you're interested, I'll send it to you. E-mail me at patsbasketball@gmail.com.
