I am so glad you thought of this song. She was a definite one hit wonder, but I was a fan of Prince, The Time, Wendy & Lisa, Jesse Johnson...You Tube has allowed me to revisit the 80's videos.

Actually 'Everybody Dance' was a minor hit as well. They had a cameo on the Arsenio Hall show back in the 80's..

This brings back alot of memories.....mostly of how goofy we looked in the 80's. It was a fun time though!!!!

The track was written "Affecttion" on the back cover of the LP - but on the LP it is "Affection" (by Jesse Johnson and "The Time" Bassist Gerald Hubbard Jr. . So I think it was mistakenly written on the cover.. cus officially the track is called "Affection" - one "T" !!! - I might be 16 years old but I am sure about that!.
