Ok, I've been trying like crazy to remember the group and the exact name of this song. It's a R&B guy group, with about 4 to six members. The song goes... "hundreds of miles away and yet i still feel her touch the distance between us doesn't mean that much, two heart together... (that all I remember on the first verse) the chours is "My southern belle..." And the Next verse starts off " the telephone rings and hello says my southern belle for Baton Rogue." that's all I can remember. And the verse mught not be in that order. I think one of the guy name was Sawn but i know it isn't boys 2 men. Can some one help me????.

Is there a possiblity you could be thinking of any of these groups: Riff, Solo, or Portrait? I don't believe any of these groups really went beyond having one or two hits...though I'm not too familiar with all of their work..

I ran across an old cassette tape with that song on it. The song is called "All about her." As for the group, I am not aware of the name. One of the member's names is silk (like the r&b group). But its funny that i have this song on a tape! (I used to record songs from the radio!).

There was a song back in '92 called 'All About Her' by an R&B group called Smoove. Could that be the one?.

How're u doing. I have the album of the guy you is talking about. The name of the guy is "SMOOVE" and the name of the song is "All About Her" and the name of the album is "SMOOVE WITH A RUFFNESS" I hope this can help you out,If you haven't found it..

Maybe someone can help me out. I'm not sure if it was from the 90's or not, can't remember how I old I was. There was a song called "It's Over". It went something like..."It's over...it's time to say goodbye..." Dag...can only hum the melodies in it. I had the cassette long ago. I thought the name of the group was The Girlz but I can never find anything. I believe it was 4 girls in the group. Slow song. I know it's not much, but anyone remember? J.

You are very right..the name of the group that sang that song is The Gyrlz... and it was actually from the late 80's.

Yes that song was by The Girlz and they only had 3 members...that I remember. I use to have that tape too. I still remember all the words to that song too. My other jam by them was "It's All Because of You".
