It is amazing to see the music of this film travel! It is acredit to to everyone involved especially Cameron Crowe and the producers, (musically) that allowed this compilation to form. I did not think I would see the day that Radiohead and Freur would be on the one medium. Sealed Forever in time..

Hi,
does anyone know the name of the song that is played when tom cruise is talking to kurt russel about what he rememebers from the accident, and tom describes how his life has changed and how there are blinding
migranes (you see tom hobbling down the passage of his home)(also just before we see toms scarred face for the first time). I think it may be Sigur ros - the nothing song, but the first version of it (not the other version played at the rooftop scene).

jonesy was wondering what the menu music on the dvd was,
and in reply Jesse suggested Ladies and Gentlemen from Spiritualized.
Jesse was this a reply to this question as this song si in no way
similar.
Has anyone got some leads for the menu music, please, too much searching, aghhh!.

I've been trying to work out the song at the nightclub but can't remember if it's before Leftfield or after. If it is Rez by Underworld does anyone know where this song is available on any dance CD or where I may hear a bit of it to make sure?.

the gun thing is a weird one - if you watch Vanilla sky on dvd and freeze frame/slow mo the scene where davids life is flashing before his eyes as he nears the ground you see a different picture in each frame, tom as a kid, his dad, music album covers etc... and in a couple there are pictures of david aames holding a gun in the
foyer of the 'lucid dream' company building, he seems to shoot a guard... It must have been a scene deleted in the final release. Who knows - perhaps a directors cut will release in a year or so revealing all....

Anybody know where I can get "Open your eyes," as it's repeated by Julie Gianni (Cameron Diaz) at the beginning of the film? I'd even be happy with an mp3 of Sophia speking the line.

First of all. Thanks to all of ya for this great site. I was able to find every single song played in the music, that was not available on the soundtrack.
My favorite was probably "The Nothing Song", but i still was not satisfied by the song i find over Kazaa. And thats why
by reading yo posts, i meet with this great piece of work, its the new nothing song, or at least thats what i thought. Its called "track 01" from the newest Sigur Ros album. As a guy said before, its completely new, the lyrics, the rythm and everything, its so amusing I cant describe on words the feeling. I just put it over here in case anyone else is looking for that song, is the track right
after David meets Sofia in the last scene, just before he jumps from the rooftop. Later, and thanks once again..
