Look no further Ash! You're in luck, because this is the list right here. Check out the hundred or so previous messages in this thread and you'll find all kinds of good alternative bands from the 80's and 90's....
I am looking for a song that came out somewhere between 92 and 95. I don't remember much of it, but it had something to do with a guy getting out of jail and watching a girl that he was in love with or something like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has been driving me crazy for
years!!!!
Maybe Stars by Hum. Lyrics go something like this.
she thinks she missed the train to mars, she's out back counting stars she's not at work, she's not at
school she's not in bed, i think i finally broke her i bring her home everything i want, nothing that she needs i thought she'd be there holding daisies, she always waits for me she
thinks she missed the train to mars, she's out back counting stars i found her out back sitting naked looking up and looking dead a crumpled yellow piece of paper, seven nines and tens i thought she'd be there holding daisies, she always
waits for me she thinks she missed the train to mars, she's out back counting stars i thought you'd be there holding daisies, you always wait for me she thinks she missed the train to mars, she's out back counting
stars .
i'm looking for an album i had in the late 90's was called the dogs b******* i looked every where on the net for it. it had a pic of a jack russel on the cover. it had some really great alternative songs on it.
Does anyone know who sang that song that goes..."just sitting in a big chair, dying" and then something like "oi oi. " some other words are
"what else are we fighting for, does anyone really know?" It's driving me nuts..
Don't forget 'Valerie Loves Me' by Material Issue And what about The Lemonheads 'It's a shame about Ray', Neds Atomic Dustbin "grey cell green" or "Happy", Too Much Joy "Crush Story" or "Donna Everywhere", James "Sit Down" Mighty Mighty Bosstones "Someday I Suppose, Jesus and
Mary Chain "Head On", Paul Westerberg "World class fad" And I'm ttrying to remember a song from the late 90's from an Irish band part of the song title is Kaylee? I think, though it's spelled wrong. Anybody know? Thanks.
I know somebody has to remember this song. it goes something like... "She lies you wouldn't believe how they fly. She shines, she shines, she cries, sometimes. " I thought it was called "she shines" but I'm not sure, I have no idea who sang it. it was out between 92 and 97.
im trying to find a song from the mid 90's, it was a straight nirvana rip off. the band was the "something", and all i can think of is the vaselines, but thasts not it.
it was about that size of a word i think though. its vague.
