Sorry to reply but the new thread wouldn't work for me.
I am looking for a song that would have been out around 1991-92. It was a man and a woman arguing in the song. If anyone knows what I am talking about please let me
know the song or the artist. .

Hope someone can help me.
I'm trying to find a song I remember from when I was in I think third grade. I can't remember any of the words for sure, but I think there was a part where the singer
said: "Come to see me.... Come to see meeeee.... Come to see me...." or something like
that.
There might have also been something about shadows in the chorus. I think the singer kinda sounded like Chris Cornell.
I'm going nuts trying to find this song but I haven't
heard it since I think 1995 or 1996.
I remember it had kind of a murky guitar sound in the verses.
I know this isn't much to go on, but if anyone can help I would really appreciate
it.
Thanks. .

I LOVE Crush and still listen to them. That was such a great album and featured a member of Killing Joke. I worked in college radio at the time and got an autographed copy of the CD. They also released at least 1 EP - maybe 2. .

great thread!
There is a song that was played in the Boston area (WBCN) between 1996-1997, and I cannot figure out who sang it or what the title was. I know it was the bands only "hit" but it didn't get much air play. The
singer was female, and the overall tone was rather low key. It seemed like a stripped down song, bare basics, and not a lot of heavy guitar riffs. I remember some of the lyrics, which go like this.
The chorus featured at one point something along the lines of "....Fire. With Water... and
it had a few lyrics after this that repeated in every chorus.
I want to say that every verse started with "Get up....." and the verses were short.
Any and all help with this one is
appreciated. Boston area residence might be the most helpful..

More info on the song since when I re-read what i wrote it seems very vague. I keep thinking the band is Magnapop, but after hearing almost all samples from their music from that time, while it very well could be them, the song is not on their albums. If they recorded some tunes
on soundtracks, it might be that song. I remember reading a Guitar World article about the band back then, so they were a nationally recognized band.
I can say with absolute certainty that it is not a song by any of the following
bands: The Cranberries, The Breeders, Elastica, Poe, Lush, L7, Bikini Kill, Hole, Alanis Morissette, Joan Osborne, Natalie Merchant, Tori Amos, Tracy Bonham, Jewel, Fiona Apple, Luscious Jackson, Sarah McLachlan, or Republica. That might help narrow it down some more. .

Hey im trying to figure out this one song, it was played on live 88.5 and i dont have much to go on, i got one of part of the song stuck in my head it goes like this. " oooOO Ah oooOOooo oooOO Ah oooOOo00.. (okay so the lower case "o"'s are a low note then the upper case "O"'s is a higher note and lastly the "0"'s is the lowest
note almost like a flat. Its weird, but catchy. I think it may just be a guitar part i cant tell cuz it sounds as if the person is singing with the guitar.
The last part of it acts like a pyramid so it rises and falls obs("oooOOo00" ).
Maybe u can help me..
