THANK YOU JAY!!!
It was "I'm not an addict" by k's choice. The whole time I thought the lyric was automatic. Anyway thank you again I'm glad I checked back here even though it's almost a year later!

Did you ever find out who sings the song with the line "like light reflecting off your shining star"? I think this is a line from "Crashing back to you" by wire train. I just played an old mix tape over the weekend and had forgotten who it was until now..

It'd be awesome if a band like Alice & Chains, or STP or anyone would make a comeback I miss grunge so bad it hurts,
here are a couple of one hitters of Grunge that I think are cool.

Space hog: In the meantime
Tracy Bonham: Mother Mother(this one starts off a tad soft and then starts to rock out)

I'm sure I'll never get an answer. NO ONE I've asked knows, but a lot of people really seem to know their music here. Here's to hoping. I do not know the band or track title, just to make it a little easier, lol. Anyway, all I remember is there was a dancing indian dancing in a light with a twisted sound with bagpipes (I think) through most of it, and a quick guitar riff for like 10 seconds then it goes back to twisted sounds like indian music mixed with beats and bagpipes. It's twisted, I know, but it came out mid 90's. It is bugging me. Please help!!.

Hey everybody. I've been reading through all the entries for about a month now and have found the info so helpful. I just wanted to list some of my favorite 90's alternative songs that may or may not have already been mentioned in case it could help some others.
Sleeping Satellite - Tasmin Archer
Josephina - Gene Loves Jezebel
Courage - Tragically Hip
Come Anytime - Hoodoo Gurus
Alex Chilton - Replacements
Valerie Loves Me - Material Issue
Sometime To Return - Soul Asylum
Feed The Tree - Belly
Sunshine Smile - Adorable
Regret - New Order
Bright Yellow Gun - Throwing Muses

Also, there is a song that I put on a mixed tape back in 1993 that I need help with. It is a female artist and I think it might be called Make Me Love You More. Any ideas?

Don't worry about the troll Debbie. He's just looking to stir things up and ruin the thread. No response to him is the best.

As for the song I've got no clue any other info.?

Thanks for the heads up. He must be really cool. Anyway, I found out the song. It's called Love You More by Steps. I don't know who they are or if they are even an alternative band, but the alternative radio station back in Philly used to play that song a lot in the early 90's. It's a cool song....
