A girl from my work is looking for a
song that was on the radio in the fall
of 1993.Its a story about a guy that
goes down to New Orleans and is seduced
by this woman and when he wakes up the
next morning he is in an abandoned
house and finds out the woman was a
voodoo queen. It is driving her crazy,
and now me.

Great posts....

So much of this takes me back to middle and high school in the early and mid 90's. All the songs that I listened to when I was going through my years of rebellion and reflection. AWESOME!

Spin Doctors, Oasis, Counting Crows (August and Everything After was my first CD ever), Verve Pipe, The Verve, Smashing Pumpkins, STP, Collective Soul, Live, great music. Oh and Nirvana (haven't seen their name out here yet) and Pearl Jam (one of the top 5 albums all-time). Thanks guys, for the memories and good ideas for my CD collection.

Try 'Possum King' by Toadies...

Make up your mind
Decide to walk with me
Around the lake tonight
Around the lake tonight
By my side
By my side
I'm not gonna lie
I'll not be a gentleman
Behind the boathouse
I'll show you my dark secret

I'm not gonna lie
I want you for mine
My blushing bride
My lover, be my lover, yeah...

Don't be afraid
I didn't mean to scare you
So help me, Jesus

I can promise you
You'll stay as beautiful
With dark hair
And soft skin...forever
Forever

Make up your mind
Make up your mind
And I'll promise you
I will treat you well
My sweet angel
So help me, Jesus

(hey, hey, hey)

Give it up to me
Give it up to me
Do you wanna be
My angel?
So help me!

Be my angel
Be my angel
Do you wanna die?
I promise you
I will treat you well
My sweet angel
So help me, Jesus

Jesus
Jesus
Jesus...
