I'm trying to find a song from the mid 90's...I think it was out around 95 or 96. I thought the bands name was Seed, and the song had some lyrics that went something like "stay with me" and then another part like "you'll see, the trouble I've been through today" or something like that. Been so long I can't quite remember, but I
have the toon in my head and it's killing me. Any help is appreciated!.

I'm sad too see that not many people put down songs like, "The Impression That I Get" by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, which is my favorite song. Plus songs like "Gylcerine" and "Chemicals between us" by Bush. Also "99 Red Balloons" though a seldom heard song by Goldfinger is
also a great song.
And one very forgotten song which im not really if it goes under alternative or not, but I used to love hearing "Mortal Kombat" by the Immortals, especially before a soccer game to get me pumped up, lol. Anyone
agree?.

"Ponderous" - 2nu it doesn't get much more one-hit-wonder than that. remember that song? crazy dream sequence where he's walking down a hall and his shoes squeak and there's a girl who talks with her eyes, who says, "do you see what i'm saying?" and "I think you see what i'm
saying." "this is ponderous, man. really ponderous.".

I have a PIT in my stomach listening to some of these songs.... I hear "Peaches" (Presidents), "Fade into You" (Mazzy Star), and "Novacaine for the Soul" (Eels) -just to mention a few of the tens of others- and I'm sucked back into highschool. There was a fabulous radio station in metropolitan NY called X107 back in the mid 90s,
and it played all this stuff.... Well, can you believe they change it into a country station in like 1996 or so for no apparent reason? It was a travesty. THANK YOU ALL for this board, and for the memories. Anyone heard of or know a song by "Loud Lucy?" They never really developed... Alanis was dating the head singer for a while as her career was taking off..
