I am trying to figure out the name of a song and its artist. It's a nineties alternative track and one of the lyrics that sticks out during the song is: "...in a world of human rats..." I believe thats how the line
goes, and its repeated throughout the song. Anyone know what I'm talking about?.

I'm surprised no one mentioned "Wolfgang X". I used to listen to "Afghan Whigs"--one song in particular got a lot of club (as in an all industrial/alternative club) play in 1993. Anyone know which song that might be? I'm pretty certain it's off of the "Gentleman"
cd. Thanks!.

One more band that I don't think was mentioned--Kitchen's of Distinction. Awesome UK band. In addition, I truely liked Ian McCulloch's single "Lover lover lover."
Please Help with artist!! There was a song circa
summer 1994 or 1995 that had the chorus "Kate the Waitress" in it. I thought it was Material Issue but I don't believe it is. Please help to identify!.

The Hummingbirds..The album.. LOVE BUZZ released in 1989 on RooART records.. VERY hard to find. I can't remember her name but one of the girls wrote a number of songs for Evan Dando from the Lemonheads when they got pretty popular. .

Kayleigh by the band Marillion. It was in 84' or 85'. Fish (derek w. dick) was still the lead singer. he was with them until 87'. Neither Marillion nor fish has done the same quality of work since splitting ways. Steve Hogarth took over and he tried to be like fish for a few years and it simply didn't work. I hear their new album
is pretty decent though. .
