Edison Lighthouse was the brainchild of vocalist Tony Burrows. ˙The group's lone hit entitled "Love Grows (Where Rosemary Grows)" was
one of four simultaneous U.K. Top Ten records registered by Burrows under different names.
˙ ˙The band was the alias of songwriters and producers Barry Mason and Tony McCauley. ˙Greenfield Hammer was also in the band.
˙ ˙Following "Love Grows," Burrows departed in search of other opportunities. ˙ McCauley owned the copyright to the band's name, and formed another group to
record under the alias. ˙The reincarnation of Edison Lighthouse cracked the U.K. Top 50 with the single "It's Up to You" and, then, vanished.
