Rob Fisher and Simon Climie met while performing session work. Fisher
was searching for a singer/songwriter. Climie was looking for someone with
whom he could write and record. They were booked into the same demo session
at Abbey Road Studios. Fisher played keyboards, and Climie did vocals.
At the time, however, Fisher still performed with Naked Eyes. Climie worked with Lilly White as arranger and Fairlight programmer. It would be another year, however, before Fisher and Climie could form Climie Fisher, sign with EMI and begin recording.
Over the course of eighteen months, Climie and Fisher completed Everything. Climie Fisher collaborated on several songs with Denis Morgan, a respected songwriter. Their first single was "Love Changes (Everything)."
Everything also features the duo's own work, including "Break the Silence," "Bite the Hand that Feeds," and "Never Let a Chance Go By," "This Is Me," and "Precious Moments."
