This pop act hailed from Dundee, Scotland, and scored its first hit in 1985 with a combination of Steely Dan and soul harmonics on the debut album. Hit singles included "Mary's Prayer" and
"Davy."
The subsequent album offered another hit entitled "Second Summer of Love." Sweet Danny Wilson is a retrospective, with the best of the two albums.
In 1993, following the break up of Danny Wilson, vocalist Danny Wilson released his debut, Ten Short Songs About Love. In 1997, Kit Clark went on to record as part of the Swiss Family
Orbison.
