JoBoxers Biography
JoBoxers formed in 1981 around singer Vic Goddard. Members of the band
included guitarist Rob Marche, keyboardist Dave Collard, bassist Chris
Bostock, drummer Sean McLusky and lead singer Dig Wayne.


JoBoxers appeared on the BBC television series entitled Oxford Roadshow.
The band subsequently signed to RCA Records.
The band's debut single, "Boxerbeat," found success in Britain, climbing
into the top five. JoBoxers next hit "Just Got Lucky" followed suit,
soaring into the top five.


JoBoxers' debut album, Like Gangsters, reached the top twenty. The band
broke up in 1985.
