Singer/songwriter Benny Mardones produced a
smash hit in the 80’s with “Into the Night,” which made the Top 10 twice. Originally from the 1980 album Never Run, Never Hide, the song was also included on his 1989 release entitled Benny Mardones.
Mardones attracted a strong following with his songwriting and raspy voice, in spite of the fact that 1996’s Most Requested Song and 1999’s Angel didn’t make the same impression as his breakthrough single. | ||
