Icicle Works Biography
|
Ian McNabb (vocals), Chris Layhe (bass) and Chris Sharrock (drums) formed
the Icicle Works in 1980. The band released their debut single
"Ascending"
in 1981. "Nirvana" and "Love Is a Wonderful Color" followed.
The single "Birds Fly (Whisper to a Scream)" catapulted the Icicle Works
into the Top 40 in 1984. The band dissolved in
1990.
